What does OEM mean!?

Unfortunately, this is sometimes a little complex, but don’t worry, OEM Imaging is here to assist! Often, people mean something different from the original sense, and you have to assume based on context. The phrase ‘original equipment manufacturer’ refers to a corporation that produces components.

As you are probably aware, nothing sophisticated these days is made entirely in one factory. In truth, not all of the pieces are made by the same business. Automobiles, cameras, laptops, you name it…

Parts for any of these items are acquired from firms all around the world that specialise in specific areas. So essentially, OEM stands for original equipment manufacturer but that can mean different things, in different contexts coming from different suppliers and brands.
